.edu email), display name, and a unique account identifier when you create an account.
- Location data: with your permission, your device's precise location to show your position and nearby events on the map. Location is only accessed while the app is in use, and we do not store a history of your location.
- Usage data: in-app activity — such as app sessions, events you view or join, and filters you use — associated with your account identifier and your school's email domain, used to understand engagement and improve the app.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the app.
- Display events near your location.
- Improve the app through anonymous usage analytics.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access or disclosure.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and storage.
- Google Maps — to display the map and event locations.
These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.
